What New Features Does The 2020 Subaru Forester Offer?

The Subaru Forester was redesigned in 2019 and gave Waldorf drivers more reasons to love the Forester. While the Forester was all-new last year the new 2020 model arrives with a few notable additions.

The first couple of updates for 2020 are minor changes that include a new Magnetic Gray Metallic exterior color and LED license plate lamp that will come standard on Sport, Limited and Touring trims. The biggest change for the new model year is a new standard safety feature that aims to prevent children or pets from being accidentally being locked and trapped in the vehicle. Subaru Rear Seat Reminder will alert the driver to double-check the back seat if the rear doors have been opened under three different circumstances.

The 2020 Subaru Forester also arrives with the latest version of EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that now includes Lane Centering as part of Adaptive Cruise Control and new Lane Departure Prevention. Safety has always been one of the best reasons for Prince Frederick drivers to choose the Forester over other SUVs and once again the Forester is highly awarded when it comes to safety. Subaru EyeSight is standard on every model and other advanced safety features range from LED Steering Responsive Headlights, DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System, and STARLINK Safety & Security with Automatic Collision Notification.

The new 2020 Subaru Forester is here at Ourisman Subaru Waldorf and we want to invite La Plata MD drivers to stop by for a test drive. From the driver's seat, you will be able to experience firsthand and see why so many drivers love the Subaru Forester.
