2023 Updates to the Subaru Outback
The 2023 model year has a few changes from the previous model year. There are some revisions made to the grille and headlamps, plus you get a new bumper design. There's also more onboard safety features as the 2023 Outback adds cameras to give a wider range of view to provide better alerts and keep you safe on the road.
Performance and Versatility
The new Outback is here to give you ample room onboard. A 182-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is what you'll find on the 2023 Outback. It attains quality fuel economy and power for everyday driving through areas like Waldorf, Prince Frederick, and La Plata. You also have the option to choose a 260-horsepower turbocharged engine as well on selected models.
Technology and Safety
There are a number of standard features on new Subaru Outback options. This includes different sized, touch displays with most having a vertical 11.6-inch choice. You can use buttons and knobs to access all your different needs in the cabin from air filtration to heating your seats, plus you get navigation, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Wi-Fi and wireless charging among your available options on the new Outback.

The 2023 edition of the Outback offers the following trims:

- Outback Premium: you will find an all-weather package, dual-zone climate control, a larger touch display, and a 10-way power driver's seat
- Outback Onyx Edition: you get the benefit of 18-inch black alloy wheels, a hands-free power rear gate, X-Mode, Hill Descent Control, and water-repellant upholstery
- Outback Limited: this edition has leather-trimmed upholstery, an eight-way power front passenger seat, a power rear gate, and premium audio
- Outback Touring: you'll find Nappa leather, a power moonroof, a heated steering wheel and ventilated seats, and DriverFocus® distraction mitigation system onboard
- Outback Wilderness: this uses a 260-horsepower engine plus has all-terrain options like added ground clearance for an off-road experience
- Outback Onyx XT, Limited XT, and Touring XT: with all three of these trims, you're getting the same features, but the addition of the 260-horsepower turbo engine
